This is exactly how I see the world day and night
Just a grey hopeless void filled with anguish and pain
The dark clouds roll ceaselessly over a barren landscape of ruin and failure
Unrequited love and broken dreams remain in pieces on the ground abandoned and forgotten
I have family who love me but someday they'll be gone and I'll be alone with nobody at my side
Every moment of existence that passes, my grave calls out to me beckoning me with soil and ash
Sirens of beauty call out to me with promises of oblivion
My soul cries out to the uncaring sky for release
But no answer ever comes.
