Mavuan Shores

Authored: November 1, 2024

In these echoes, these far-fearing sighs of the wind
In a world that has been shaken asunder
The engines that made life powers down
A beautiful sunset, dusk, plays out
Yet there is nobody to enjoy it.

There is no longer tainted reflection
The echoes recede and all that can be heard,
Are the waves crashing against the shoreline
This is the end, beloved.

Somebody or something purposed bones
In the shape of the former species
Once was Man. a tragedy befell him
What aftermath is this? A procession, a reckoning?

If only you could see the Mavuan shores;
If only you could see
If only you could hear
If only you could feel
If only....

There will come a time,
There will be no sanctuary
From what is to come
There will be no Home

And the silence from the Stars, that silence
It will seem like echoes of causality
But come, come now.
Take your shoes off
Stand with me
As we watch the beautiful waves crash against
Mavuan Shores....
