"Hold me," you pleaded.

So, I held you. I held you tightly to me.

The Void was here. Heralded by the darkest of the Abyss.

"I fell in Love with you. I caught feelings. It was too late. Mayhap in another reality we became a union, but here and now, it was unrequited. What do I do now, but await death's embrace?"

The Void was not of nothingness. But of Everything that had come and gone.

"You will never know of the sacrifices that I undertook. We will go separate ways."

The Void started to move and change.

And a figure emerged.

Flesh against tangled flesh, skin against warm skin.

You looked at me with star-filled eyes.

"Kiss me before I fade away. Kiss me before I become a myth. Kiss me, now."
