A Chorus of Swallows (Prose)

Authored: July 30, 2023

Some of us learn from life early on in our lifecycle and some of us in the latter years. where regrets form and remorse take shape. Unlearning from cycles of unforeseen dysfunction that permeated thinking and actions. In those twilight moments, one can only look at the mechanisms, of the past. What was chosen and what one had to deal with, with a new grasp. Moving fragments.

This life is one of a chorus of swallows.

It is better to contemplate the laments and learnings of the past, and hope that one can change the course of his/her story. Your words cannot be meaningless, your actions cannot be the reflections of what ifs.

So mayhaps, live life. To the best of your ability. Live it with the decisions of the here & now, and not of past burdens or actions of others that regretfully purge your soul. Life should not be a feckless loss sunk philosophy.

In the end, we make of life what we want of it. Or at least give it our best shot.
