We were never perfect specimens
Living visages under constant maelstrom
The cycles of life, of death, of life
We've seen countless sunrises and sunsets
What have we learnt?
The Stars shine above, watching us turn on each other
Observing tearlessly blood shed on green grounds
The Massacres of Innocence
Sol Solis burns bright, irradiant
We're drifting on this rock, this home.
Life reaches out to life
Love reaches for love
Perchance to evolve into something greater
But our hearts, our human face
The darkness never truly far away.
I wanted to make you see
To feel, to open your eyes
Before it's too late. Or maybe it is too late?
Solis Occasum
I will see you one last time, that last Sunset.
Mayhap we will dance one last time
As the Stars weep for us
As what gave us life, dies around us
Lights wither as darkness overtakes
The Maelstrom takes us
A final whisper, "Love laments".
