This world is not yours and never was
We have observed wanton destruction
The mass extinction events and the deviousness your species displays
We hoped you would change, that you would learn and adapt
We wanted the best for your species.

Who we are is of little concern for now
Who we were shall be explained
Who we had been was an evolution of innovation
We became the gardeners that kept worlds in symbiosis
We became benefactors for those who wanted to learn
We became shepherds to the species that required attention.

Your species were given time and help
Your species were observed to fail again and again
Innocence was lost and life taken so tainted by your hands
Your waterways so polluted
Your air becoming so toxic
Your belief systems so antiquated
Your technology so inefficient
Your characters in dissonance and darkened strains.

Did you think you were a random lifeform on a random planet?
Did you not once question your existence on this sphere?
This world was never yours
We observed, we hoped, we sought your evolution
We cannot allow your kind amongst the stars
Your species are parasites, a disease that would take hosts
Rampaging across star-systems destroying other life.
