Untitled Poem

Authored: January 22, 2020

There were moments, rare fleeting moments where it all came together
Closing the mind to outside interference
Those sounds of life around me
I entered the world of my mind
Textures so fluid, they became shapes and forms
It had been a long time
To feel a human touch
Translucent charges flowed along my body
Awakening long dormant responses
Can desire attain a mass? Can a dream become a shape?

A day under the sun shall come
But first I must attain new resolves and new movements
Lights move across shapes
And shapes move across the fluid between the forms
A visceral cortex fires across synapses
At the very end of the periphery
Those ancient empires become more and more mere reflective.

I feel my heartbeat
Engines of the body
Moving in an order so vast and grand
There's something there
Just beyond.... within.

I always knew it would come to this
Evolution is at work here
But what is yet to express, is yet to come.

Opening eyes, emergence into a formless reality
Interchanging every day, every moment
To the point where it all came together.
