The Man lay in bed for countless days deceased
It wasn't until the smell overtook neighbours
Was a forced entry made on this man's place
They found him under the covers of his bed in his room
Decomposition was taking place
The man had died in his sleep, during a dream
Cardiac arrest ended this man's life.

A police officer found this man's phone
Charging on the computer desk
So many missed phone calls and unread messages
This is what loneliness led too.... a man unmissed
The police officer would shed tears that night
A new sense of life would take hold
Each moment and day would mean something....

The man opens his eyes
Finding himself on the shoreline of the lake
From his dreams
He smiles, for he is home
This is his ultimate dream, a new home
From the other side of the shoreline walks a figure
Toward him....
A woman with deep auburn hair and an enchanting smile
The man shed tears on that shoreline
As clouds became oceans
And oceans became clouds.

On that shoreline, they embraced
Death brought them together
Heartbeats as one, under oceans as clouds.
