Untitled Poem (Mature Themes)

Authored: April 1, 2018

One day the trees will sing again
As I bring you into my arms
A sense of security
My fingers touch your chin
Leaning in I kiss you.

The day the trees sing
Will be when you and I are together
Just fall away from my arms
Trust in me
Cause you are something to hold onto
It's flesh and bone
Soul to soul.

Fingers touch and caress against your warm flesh
An epiphany of feeling
An explosion of sound
I feel you everywhere all of a sudden
A convergence, body to soul.

When the trees sing again,
I will burn into existence again
A reality where I bring you into my arms
Kissing you deeply
With wild abandon.

Hallelujah.

One day the trees will sing again
One day you will be mine again
And I will never change who you are
Allow me to kiss across your flesh
Fingers sliding with a hunger
And I am in the earth
And you are in the sky.

Hallelujah
And nothing will change what you are
And someday
The trees will sing again.
