Light Veins; Cities in the Grass

Authored: March 28, 2018

We run from loneliness as if it is an anathema
Maybe we misunderstand it, gave it a allowance of power
That it should never have, it became a social indicator
Everyone has a past, a story to tell
Not everyone can be lively, extroverted
There is nothing wrong with bucking the trend.

An imagination lets fly, introverted dreams
A condensed version of yourself
Imagine being an ant looking up at the sky
Clouds an immeasurable size,
Grass as long as trees, waving toward the sky
Pulses of greenery around, but also of light
Between the green and the rugged ground
Light veins; a hive mind
Creating cities in the grass.

There is no loneliness in structure
There is no loneliness in being yourself
One must come to accept that to understand loneliness
One must understand their-self.

In the time beyond, way after the fall of Humanity
When the Green reclaims the world
Evolution has set about its work
Cities in the grass
Become citadels
Then become one with nature
Light veins; a hive mind.
Sentience.... to question oneself.
