You faded from my mind
Where once I held you firmly
I bade you farewell, letting go of memories
An obscurity of experience
These times post you, have been one of reaching within
I have learnt from this pain; this chaos became an epiphany.

People come in and out of our lives
Even lovers
What once were solid foundations
Became faded words and actions
In a way, you died for me
I put you to rest
I had to, to move on.

I have made peace with the past
A lament of a deep reflective.
