Here is a lesson, a free lesson in life.
If there is an opportunity waiting to be taken
Take it
Never wait for the right moment
As it may be just too late.

I have learned this lesson
in the harshest way possible
I am filled with so much regret
That I'm probably going to take all my regrets
to my grave in about forty years.

Had I known better....

Raindrops against the window
A soft whimpering is coming from inside the room
You could open the door and see a girl crying
She might not have the justifications for her sadness
but she knows this way she is finally in touch
Her window open
the tears on her cheeks mix with the rain
As her long hair gets soaked, she starts feeling alive again
The cold night sky makes her remember
how insignificant she is
With nothing to lose there is everything to gain
The world is to gain.

Had I known better....

This is where we, lost people come
To find temporary peace
Asleep....
