At the top of the stairs, you are a silhouette
Almost eclipsed by the radiant bright light
I wave, you wave
You step back, and more of you disappears.

The next realm awaits you
Go forth, turn and take your claim
I watch you go
Fading into the Light.

Remember me as I will remember you
It is alright
Memories remain
I am here; you are there.

When next you feel the wind
It shall sing to you
And remind you of me
We are forever parted
But know I remember you.

The light shimmers
A shape tries to reform
I start to climb the stairs
Reaching out....

A burst of energy
Brilliant light surrounds me
I feel a force your hand pushes me back
It is not my time, just yet.

I hear the wind and its song
Architects of sound.
The light starts to diminish....
It is alright
Memories remain.
Whispers....
