I still want to know why
In this Repose, let it shine
When Stars align.

So, you called me from an unknown number
And I answered and you said hello
Memories cascade within the echo chamber of my mind
You asked if we could talk
And I said Yes.

The Aurora shifts in the dark night skies
A Repose, a small light shines in the opening
These times cannot come back.

You apologised
Yet you are still broken as am I
We both ran and hid from our own monsters
For far too long.

Well, yeah. Everything will be different
You cried, you wanted another chance.

I asked you a simple question and honesty was wanted
"Why?"
You couldn't understand what I wanted an answer to.

I remembered
In this Repose, let it shine
When Stars align
Under dark skies the Aurora shifts.

I hung up the phone and tears fell
Well, everything will be different soon
If not already.
