Walking alone across the Bridge that late Afternoon
The only companions with me were the wind and sun
My memories bade forth with each step
I remembered it all in all its glory and gory detail
There was beauty and there were painful moments
Incandescent memories spoke forth.
It all blurred as I remembered
Artificial waves of the mind
Finding solace in the remnants.
Under this sun, my memories spoke to me
In your voice
And they said this....
"I cannot believe I met someone like you
If only we had met when I was younger
I would have loved to have a child with you.
You would have made a good father, Petar"
Memories fade
Lost
Solace.
The distance ahead blurs
The sun falls behind the cliff
Blur with me, will I also become a faded memory?
