At the Gates of Perihelion, I stood to be judged
And yet the one who judged me was my own shadow, my own self
And through judgement the gates fell away, and that reality shattered
The ground that was made of my past shattered like a buckle under pressure
And I fell, it was a good type of fall
For in falling, you learn your own way back to yourself
From the dream state you wake up
Your eyes open.
And when they do, you find purchase on the real,
Every experience is necessary
Everything you go through is necessary
When you learn those lessons and truths
Everything becomes clear
From the sky and from the depths of the oceans
From every shining star
To that beautiful light in each of our hearts.
And when you can again look in the mirror
And see yourself and not some lies look back at you
Then you have found yourself.
