I opened my eyes and looked upon the Earth in a different light
Where once I lived with doubts and iniquity, they cleared
Where once I was blind, I was no longer blind
Where once I felt chained, I was now free
Everything fell away and the beautiful grace of peace surrounded me
I no longer saw myself as a cog in a machine
But a person who could change the world around him.

Darkness can only invade your soul if you let it in
Fear can only permeate your soul if you let it in
We are the masters of our own perceptions.
We are not born with these thoughts, but we can change ourselves
Loneliness can only take hold if you cannot find friendship with yourself.

There is a beautiful canvas to draw your journey
It is called Life. It is called choice, and it is called Love
In understanding yourself you come to understand the nature of the heartbeat that is Life
We are on this Living Plane for an infinitely small second
So, make the best of time and do not live with regrets.

I appreciate the small forms
I appreciate that the negative has transitioned into the positive
I value the lessons taught by experience
Opening the heart and the mind to the new
Led me to the point to see the shifting patterns in human behaviour
Even in the fear that surrounds our societies
I can see the vivid beautiful templates of so many souls living life.

I opened my eyes and soaked everything in
The sun, the wind, the natural sounds and a thousand bodies living their lives around me
It was all a matter of Perception.
