Our Hearts were like Trees awaiting the warmth of Sunrise

Authored: January 16, 2014

The duality of Life washes over me as I realise its truth.
I walked the park this morning, I walk daily as the sun dawned on another day
A stark contrast to my afternoon walks
The trees in this park are ancient, and will survive my death
I sat down at a bench and closed my eyes and thought about what Love meant for me.

Love is the greatest gift we can give of ourselves to another
Love is the opposite of darkness and is Light
Love is the giving of your heart without any exception
Love is there from the beginning, it manifests.

I opened my eyes as I felt the touch of the first rays of the sun upon my face
I witnessed the sun's beautiful touch on the nearest Tree
And it was warm, giving, nurturing, the cycle of life.

And that is what Love is for me, giving of yourself without any hindrance
At least once in your life, experience the joy of a totally beautiful love
Where your body, soul and mind are enveloped in a joy.
I know how much it meant for me.

Our Hearts are ours to tender, to prune, to give.
And I will hold this forever in my heart, the moments I had experienced
And I will hold them up and know it is real and can happen for anyone
I am so filled with Love, and yet I witnessed everything around me.

I asked one question and let it hang, unanswered.
I do not allow fear to grip me but will go along with the flow.
As things start, they end and then they begin again
We all have inner demons to battle as well as the demons of our past mistakes
But I will take the small things of my life that makes me happy
And live and quantify them.

Our Hearts were like Trees awaiting the Warmth of Sunrise.
I wish you all happiness, and joy as we all deserve it
I wish you all the joy of close companionship, as we all crave it
I wish you all the understanding to know when something is good
And allow the joy and the tears to flow, it's all part of Life.

And You'll love and will still do.
The duality of Life washes over me.
My Heart has learnt its lesson.
The Trees sing in the Sun, and I listen, and I know its song.

"I release you from your own madness of insecurity.
I enfold you in the path that your life must make
I guide you that you will know the joys of Love
I release you to feel, to hurt and to feel again".
