Your touch washed over me like the rising rays of a new dawn sun,
From the darkness I found myself in light
And I knew I was where I wanted to be
I remember moments, mere fleeting glimpses of ethereal energy
Potent, upwelling, causative elixer of the heart and soul
And I have reached the moment where I can say goodbye.
I remember one bright fluid brilliant Light
Surround me, casting away my doubt.
Your smile and your touch and your eyes, were all I needed
For I had found purchase on the rocks of this shoreline
Epics of yesterday faded into the echelons of a past that is the past
But in finding yourself you find love, the pure kind.
You matter, I matter, we matter
I remember one bright fluid brilliant Light
And it had your beautiful grace on it.
Your touch washed over me like the coolest rain on a hot summer's day
And I reached the moment where I can say goodbye.
