I watched your smile like the setting of the Sun

Authored: December 26, 2013

I
The Soul releases and a wind sweeps through the field of flowers
Petals release into the wind and drift and move in the currents
Arising, harmonising, moving, forward.
The Sun was setting and yet the wind carried forth.

II
I watched you dance amongst the field of flowers
I watched the strands of your hair wave in the wind
You turned to me and smiled
And all around me the trees sung
I reached out my hand and offered it to you
Wordlessly but with many a message.

III
Just like the petals of the flower carried in the wind
Your hand reached out and grabbed mine and our souls adjoined
I brought you into my arms and hugged you and looked into your eyes
Around us the Sun set, another Dusk.
My fingers traced your lips, and I whispered
"I love You".

IV
Your eyes capture me, and I am yours
I kiss you and around us Life carries on, rejoicing
We lose ourselves in our passion and as darkness falls
Your eyes show the last embers of the setting sun.

V
The Soul releases and a wind sweeps through the field of flowers
There we are, lost in our own Rising Alight.
Arising, harmonising, moving, forward always.
The Sun has set and yet there we are, like petals in a current of our making.
