The light shone forth and darkness was vanquished
Tepid features were seen of fields of flowers and meadows of greenery
Nothing was seen of the poison, an echo of the past
But poison was not in the ground but in each of us
And I talk about the poison of ill-will, of thoughtless repose
Of Indignation in the face of Idiocy.

It is said the Human Heart, is a poet as well as a warmonger
It is said our Brain, is common sense as well as a devourer
It is said our Soul is our vehicle as well as our endings
It is said that our Human being is capable of love but is also capable of much hatred.

All these things are true.
But the greatest poison is when forgets to always stay true to themselves
When you forget that another has feelings, emotions and feels them truly and deeply
You forget the hypocrisy of teaching your kids ideals and right from wrong
And yet you fail to meet your own ideals head on.

Darkness is deep within all our souls, it's there as Light.
I think of those like me who want a better world around us
That we must be the carrions of action.
If we want a peaceful world, we must make peace with ourselves
To flood out darkness, you must face negativity
To flush out negativity, you must be able to say, "Lets change our focus".

Everything is flowing down the rivers of Time
Everything is, everything was and everything shall be.
Only one word and one action can be accounted for from this moment on...
"Levity".
