I watched as a man picks up a child into his arms and runs to safety
From a wave of destruction
I watch hour in our hour of need, strangers come together
Memories like slivers of Light cascade along my face and I close my eyes.
I feel myself floating through a forest
Along a greenery and life surrounding me
I hear life around me, spreading through me
An Inception; the grand principles of Life.
I opened my eyes as the wave of destruction descended upon me
Inception: sometimes to live again you must die a million deaths
I closed my eyes, and I saw you
I saw your smile as you played the piano
You winked at me and said amongst your music
"Love is the message, love is the Cadence".
I opened my eyes again and watched the wars of our history
All the violence and the pain and the misery
Play out on the surface of our world
And it was as if the stars surrounding us all wept
And then the Wave descended from the heavens like a sword
Washing away the inequity
Washing away the insolence.
I closed my eyes and felt your touch on me
Your fingernails caressing my flesh
And in the Dreams of Trees, I knew, we knew
To Live again, one must die to understand.
We fell and we rose again as one
We feel the Light emerge.
