Salvage

I took your hand in mine, warm flesh to warm flesh
I brought my lips up against yours, tasting you
Pulling you to me, you felt the pulse of life
Encompassing and surrounding you
It was a hold of immensity
I awaited you, transmuted over time.

You feel my breath on your neck
You see my eyes pierce yours in a hold
You feel my fingers slide through your hair
You hear my whisper against your ear
What do I say to you and your heart?

We dance the dance of courtship
We hold the essence of time and space
Let me invigorate you, let me surround you
Light from darkness, hope from darkness
The grandiose schisms make way for a flowering of rebirth.

Distant horizons unmasked
Flooded with the vitality of a new hope
The invasion begins
Let me feed you my soul
Let me guide you in my light.

I took your hand in mine, warm flesh to warm flesh
I brought my lips up against yours, tasting you
Pulling you to me, you felt the pulse of life
Encompassing and surrounding you
Never let go.
I am at your side in your darkest times.
I am called the testament of hope!
