With awakened eyes I saw the sunrise
I held out my hands against the brisk warm winds
On the edge of this cliff, I stand
I closed my eyes and remembered my past
Unclenching my hands I opened them to receive the winds.

I felt the rays of the sun on my face, caressing
I saw in my mind a synthesis, a co-existence
On this date, I had promised a world
Opening my eyes the sun was hazy, rising like a phoenix
Blinding me with dazzling brilliance.

With eyes wide open I remembered
I will always remember
I wanted to see so long
I wanted to see this for myself.

Cresting the sun a shape manifested.
It came closer and closer
It was proof, it was what I wanted to see
I went onto my knees, and I knew I was home.

At the Co-Syn Point I stand
I wanted to see
I wanted to see this for myself
This was what I needed to see.

The shape manifested, a sphere of radiance.
And I knew I and everyone else would see
Never again truly alone for we never were.
The shape closed in and I knew what it was
With awakened eyes gleaming with the dreams of tomorrow.

In my head, in my heart, beautiful renditions
With my eyes opened I look closer
The shape was beautiful.
I wanted to see
I wanted to see this
I wanted to see this for myself.

At the Co-Syn Point, I know I am HOME.
